To get to the city center from the airport, take Bizkaibus A3247 from outside the airport arrival hall. From the airport the bus leaves every 30 minutes, from 06:15 to 23:15 to Bilbao. From the city they leave every 30 minutes from 05:25 to 21:55. The trip takes about 25 minutes.
The bus has three stops: Gran Via 79 Viajes Ecuador, Plaza Moyua and Almeda Recalde 11, at which the bus connects with the TERMIBUS bus system of Bilbao.
The A-8 motorway is the best way to reach Bilbao if you are travelling from the east or west.
