Tour de Pintxos

Experience Bilbao in a different way, on a walking tour with pintxos.
The “pintxos” are authentic culinary art works in miniature. They are made combining traditional products of the Basque cuisine with a modern touch.
In order to eat well in the Basque Country it is not necessary to sit at a table, as the choice of pintxos can be endless, depending solely on the imagination of the magnificent chefs.
Do not forget that the tasting of “pintxos” is usually linked to the ritual of the “txkiteo”, implying a tour of different bars of the city drinking wine, cider or “zuritos” (beer served in small glasses).

EUR 42,00 per person (incl. English-speaking guide, bus transportation, tasting of 6 pintxos and 3 drinks)

Available dates:
Tuesday, 11 September 2018 from 14:00 – 17:00

Hanging bridge and old port (Walking tour)

For this tour, you travel to Getxo to start at the historic Bizkaia Bridge, popularly known as a “hanging bridge” and much resembling the Eiffel Tower. The bridge was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in July 2006. It is an iron structure that connects the towns of Portugalete and Getxo, was designed by Alberto Palacio and completed in July 1893. It operates 24 hours carrying passengers and vehicles in its gondola. From the pedestrian bridge at a height of 50 meters, a splendid view of the bay can be enjoyed.
The tour will continue with a walk around Dock Las Arenas, to explore buildings of great beauty, some of them in ashlars and with influences of English architecture.
